How it recognises emergency services
It doesn't listen in, it looks
Emergency services always keep their two-way radio on (not the car radio), even when nobody is talking. BlueSense notices that. It transmits nothing and never listens to conversations.
It knows what it hears
Not every signal is an emergency vehicle. BlueSense is trained on how emergency-service radios behave and ignores the rest. That means fewer false alerts.
The antenna sits outside
On the roof or behind the bumper. No glass or bodywork in the way, so it sees further.

What people ask
Is this legal in the Netherlands?
Yes. BlueSense only receives, transmits nothing and decodes no conversations. Abroad, the rules of that country apply.
Does BlueSense listen in?
No. Conversations are encrypted and BlueSense doesn't try to decode them. It only notices that an emergency-service radio is nearby, never what is being said.
Does it detect unmarked vehicles too?
Yes, as long as their radio is on. If it's off, BlueSense sees nothing. It is physically impossible to detect a vehicle without a radio. In principle it is always on.
Why a deposit?
We deliver in limited batches. Your €100 reserves a spot in the next batch and locks in your price. First to reserve, first to receive.
Do I get my €100 back if I cancel?
Yes, always, until it ships. Send an email to hello@bluesen.se and the amount is back in your account within 14 days.
Do you deliver outside the Netherlands?
Yes, to most EU countries. Shipping to the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany is free. To other EU countries it costs €19.99. You pay that together with the remaining amount, not with the deposit.
When will it be delivered?
Expected delivery: December 2026. If that changes, we'll email you right away. You can then always cancel free of charge.
Does it work abroad?
Tested in the Netherlands and Belgium. Driving abroad? Check the rules of that country.
How does paying with Klarna work?
You choose Klarna for the remaining amount, once your BlueSense is ready to ship. You then pay in three equal parts: at shipping, one month later and two months later. Interest-free. Rather pay everything at once, later? That's possible too, within 30 days.
What if I return it after receiving it?
You have 14 days to change your mind after receiving it. Not happy? You get your money back if everything comes back complete and undamaged. Damage to the unit or cables is deducted. Register your return first via hello@bluesen.se, and you'll get a return number and the address.
